INTRODUCTION
Progress can be in stages; from walking to running to flying, Isa. 40:31.
The best, of course is flying tirelessly like the eagle. And the Bible says that it is possible for those who wait upon the Lord. Our prayer is that by the time we finish this Bible study, you will became a high -flyer in Jesus name. Amen.
1. WALKING, RUNNING AND FLYING
Walking is steady, systematic progress. Running on the other hand is rapi9d, steady progress. Whereas flying contains elements of sudden explosive progress. May your progress become sudden and explosive in Jesus name. Mk. 4:3-8, Mt. 25:14-28, Acts 3:1-8, I Sam. 17:34-37, I Sam. 2:8, I Sam. 16:11-13, Lk. 5:1-7
Acts 5:14-16.
2. THE REQUIREMENT FOR FLYING LIKE AN EAGLE
The secret of being a spiritual high flyer is intimacy with Christ. Paul, who moved from being an anti-Christ to being an apostle, spent quality time in prayers and was so intimate with Christ that it was as if they were crucified together. And since intimacy requires mutual agreement, anyone who wants to be intimate with God must be holy.
Jn. 15:5, I Cor. 15:9, I Cor. 14:18, I Thess. 5:17, Gal. 2:20, Amos. 3:3, I Pet. 1:15-17.
CONCLUSION
Those who would enjoy the benefits of flying must be dwellers with , not casual visitors to God.
Ps. 91:1, Ps. 23:6
What is your choice? To fly or to crawl.
Will you like to talk to God about it now? |
